LaserEcoClean in comparison to Ultrasonic cleaning

One of our regular customers has kindly compared 2 methods of thorough cleaning Laser Cleaning and Ultrasonic Cleaning for us.

The experiment went as follows:
First the anilox roll was cleaned using ultrasonic method. After that we used LaserEcoClean™ to clean half of the roll. Then we checked the amount of transferred ink by weighing the roll and measured optical density with a densitometer.


  • Anilox: 360l/cm screen, 4.2cm³/m² volume

  • Ink: Solvent-based Cyan, viscosity 23s

  • Printing speed: 220m/min

  • Substrate: metallic BOPP, 15mkm#

  • Solid patches of each ink printed were measured from 6 to 7 times all over printing area

● Ink: Solvent-based Pantone 072, viscosity 23s
● Printing speed: 220m/min
● Substrate: metallic BOPP, 15mkm
