Consent to the Processing of Personal Data

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. When we rely on consent

Under the GDPR, consent is only one of several possible legal bases for processing personal data. LaserEcoClean GmbH & Co. KG relies on consent only where an optional processing activity requires it, for example optional analytics or marketing communications where applicable.

We do not rely on consent merely to answer a business enquiry, prepare a quotation or take steps requested by you before entering into a contract. Those activities are generally processed under Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Requirements for valid consent

Where we ask for consent, the request is intended to be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous in accordance with Articles 4(11), 6(1)(a) and 7 GDPR. Consent is requested separately from other terms and is not obtained through pre-ticked boxes, silence or inactivity.

Refusing or withdrawing optional consent does not prevent you from using the basic functions of the website or from sending us a business enquiry, unless the relevant optional processing is strictly necessary for a specific service you have requested.

3. Data covered by a consent request

The exact data and purpose are described at the point where consent is requested. Depending on the relevant function, this may include:

4. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal must be as easy as giving consent.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

5. Evidence of consent

Where consent is used as the legal basis, we may retain information necessary to demonstrate when and how consent was obtained and when it was withdrawn. This record is processed for compliance purposes, including the obligation under Article 7(1) GDPR to be able to demonstrate valid consent.

6. International transfers

If a consent-based service involves a transfer of personal data outside the EEA, the relevant information is provided before consent is requested. Where applicable, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by Chapter V GDPR.
